Join KASAP for an informative webinar on grooming, featuring multidisciplinary perspectives from child advocacy, prosecution, child welfare, and public policy. Presenters will provide an overview of HB 4 and recent changes to Kentucky’s grooming law; discuss common grooming behaviors and tactics used by offenders; walk through a real-world case example; and explore reporting processes and system responses to grooming concerns. Representatives from KASAP, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Kentucky, a Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services will provide insights to help professionals better recognize, respond to, and address grooming behaviors. By increasing awareness of grooming dynamics and early warning signs, participants will be better equipped to intervene appropriately and help prevent further harm.
