There are many opportunities for involvement at the local level.  Please consider contacting your local rape crisis center to learn about volunteer opportunities.

At the state level, here are ways for all Kentuckians to join the work to end sexual violence:

Learn more about sexual violence in Kentucky and the work KASAP is doing to prevent sexual violence.

Stay up-to-date on KASAP's advocacy efforts, trainings, events, and other information. You can subscribing to our mailing list, read our monthly Movement Minute newsletter, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Participate in Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month activities throughout the month of April and join KASAP for our annual kickoff event at the end of March/beginning of April.

Attend the Annual Conference, being help in Lexington KY from November 29-Dec 1, 2023. Registration opens soon!
5Work with KASAP through an internship or practicum placement. Requests are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Email your resume, program requirements, and a cover letter to executivedirector@kasap.org

KASAP Announces Powerful Statewide Sexual Assault Survivor Documentary

KASAP has produced a statewide documentary with 12 sexual violence survivors and counselors to raise awareness of the impact of sexual assault on local communities and the resources available in in Kentucky.

Job Fair at the Center for Women and Families March 29-30

The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Kentucky is having a Job Fair on March 29-30, 2023.

SANE/SART Training

KASAP is no longer hosting SANE training events. We are working in collaboration with regional SANE programs and will share information about the training events they host on this page as we have it available.
