Webinar: Campus Safety Panel

Webinar: Campus Safety Panel

Hosted by KASAP, this panel discussion will bring together campus-based professionals from across Kentucky to explore issues related to violence on college campuses. Panelists – including a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, University Police Advocate, and Advocates from campus survivor resource centers – will provide an overview of violence on college campuses, Title IX processes and requirements, insight on roles, responsibilities, and jurisdictions related to reporting options, as well as survivor safety resources and violence prevention programming. The discussion will also highlight ways community-based advocates can collaborate with campus professionals to strengthen coordinated responses and better support survivors navigating campus and community systems. Through panel discussion and a case study scenario, participants will gain a deeper understanding of survivor-centered practices, cross-system collaboration, and strategies to support safer campus communities.
