Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

Join the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs to kick off the beginning of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month!

For a Kentucky united in the movement against sexual violence.

CDC and state Covid-19 safety guidelines for in-person gatherings will be followed

Though the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs (KASAP) is dedicated to serving survivors every day, April is the month we dedicate to Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention in the Commonwealth. Every April, KASAP hosts events, trainings, and social media campaigns to help individuals and communities across Kentucky learn more about sexual violence and how to prevent it.

Join KASAP on March 30th, 2023 from 2-4 PM CST at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro to learn more about our work to prevent & end sexual violence in Kentucky and how you can join in. The event will include awards presentations, a proclamation recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, art show, keynote (tbd), and light snacks will be served. Suggested attire: apparel from the SAAPM t-shirt fundraiser.
