KASAP is excited to share that registration is now LIVE for our Legal Advocacy course, designed for advocates who support survivors of sexual violence as they navigate legal systems in Kentucky.
This course is especially geared toward advocates at Kentucky’s rape crisis centers who provide legal advocacy, but other advocates and professionals who work with survivors of sexual violence are also welcome to enroll.
About the Course
Legal processes can be overwhelming, intimidating, and retraumatizing for survivors. This course provides foundational knowledge and practical guidance to help advocates support survivors with compassion, clarity, and confidence as they engage with legal systems.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of legal advocacy in Kentucky and how to center survivor choice, safety, and emotional support throughout these processes.
