Advocacy Specialist
Amanda-Allen Herm serves as KASAP's Advocacy Specialist, strengthening trauma-informed, survivor-centered advocacy across Kentucky’s 13 regional rape crisis centers (RCCs). In this role, she provides technical assistance, training, and practical resources to support RCC advocates in delivering high-quality services and engaging effectively in coordinated community response efforts.
She brings more than 10 years of frontline advocacy experience supporting survivors of sexual violence in both rape crisis center and child advocacy center settings. Her direct service background spans crisis intervention, shelter advocacy, hospital and legal accompaniment, family advocacy, multidisciplinary team coordination, and advocate training.
Amanda holds a BA in Psychology from Morehead State University and is currently pursuing her MSW at University of Pikeville.
