The Sexual Assault Response Team Advisory Committee is a statewide committee created by statute, KRS 403.707. The co-chairs are the executive director of the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs and a representative of the Kentucky State Police.
Issues typically discussed included training needs, legislation and policy, and ways to improve access to services for survivors. The meetings are open and recorded per statute requirements.
