In this training, we will dive into the deeper meaning of these buzzwords and explore the impact of vicarious trauma on those working in sexual violence response and prevention every day. We will discuss how we can truly care for ourselves while also being routinely exposed to secondhand trauma. Topics will include: spotting signs of vicarious trauma and burnout, personal vs. professional self-care, and proactive practices.
