Mission:

Women's Crisis Center is committed to advocating for the empowerment of adults and children who have survived domestic violence, sexual abuse or rape. We provide crisis intervention, counseling, education, and shelter for partner abuse survivors.

Services:

Women's Crisis Center provides:
  • 24-hour hot line providing crisis intervention, information, referral, and counseling for victims of sexual and domestic violence.
  • Five Walk-in Centers serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors (adult and children). Services include crisis intervention, counseling, case management, court advocacy, and support groups.
  • Two protective shelters serving victims of domestic violence and their children providing counseling, information and referral, and case management/advocacy services
  • Job Readiness Training including: assessment, basic skills, and assistance with job placement.
  • Public Education provides preventative and informative programs on sexual and domestic violence. Programs are age-appropriate programs on personal safety, sexual abuse and date rape for children and adolescents in grades K-12. Offers presentations/Inservice workshops on sexual and domestic violence to community groups, churches, universities, and other human service professionals.
